Lesson 13: Etiquette of the Mosque
सबक़ 13: मस्जिद के आदाब
میں مسجد میں سیدھا پیر رکھ کر داخل ہوتا ہوں اور یہ دعاء پڑھ تا ہوں: “بسم اللہ والصلاۃ والسلام علي رسول اللہ، اللھم افتح لي ابواب رحمتک”۔
Main masjid mein seedha per rakh kar daakhil hota hun aur yeh du’a padhta hun: “Bismillahi was salaati was salaami ‘alaa rasoolallahi Allahummaftih Lee abwaaba rahmatika.”
I enter the mosque with my right foot first and recite this supplication: “In the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open the gates of Your mercy for me.”
मैं मस्जिद में सीधा पैर रख कर दाखिल होता हूँ और यह दुआ पढ़ता हूँ: “बिस्मिल्लाहि वस-सलातु वस-सलामु अला रसूलिल्लाहि, अल्लाहुम्मफ़्तह ली अब्वा-ब रहमतिक।”
میں مسجد میں کچھ نہیں خريدتا ہوں۔
Main masjid mein kuch nahi khareedta hun.
I do not buy anything in the mosque.
मैं मस्जिद में कुछ नहीं खरीदता हूँ।
میں مسجد میں کچھ نہیں بیچتا ہوں۔
Main masjid mein kuch nahi bechta hun.
I do not sell anything in the mosque.
मैं मस्जिद में कुछ नहीं बेचता हूँ।
میں مسجد میں اونچی آواز سے بات نہیں کرتا ہوں۔
Main masjid mein oonchi awaaz se baat nahi karta hun.
I do not talk loudly in the mosque.
मैं मस्जिद में ऊंची आवाज़ से बात नहीं करता हूँ।
میں مسجد میں نمازیوں کے سامنے سے نہیں گزرتا ہوں۔
Main masjid mein Namaaziyon ke saamne se nahi guzarta hun.
I do not pass in front of people praying in the mosque.
मैं मस्जिद में नमाज़ियों के सामने से नहीं गुज़रता हूँ।
میں مسجد میں کسی چيز سے نہیں کھیلتا ہوں۔
Main masjid mein kisi cheez se nahi khelta hun.
I do not play with anything in the mosque.
मैं मस्जिद में किसी चीज़ से नहीं खेलता हूँ।
میں مسجد میں دو رکعت نماز (تحیۃ المسجد) پڑھنے تک نہیں بیٹھتا ہوں۔
Main masjid mein 2 rak’at namaaz (Tahiyyatul Masjid) padhne Tak nahi bethta hun.
I do not sit in the mosque until I have prayed two Rak’ahs (Tahiyyatul Masjid).
मैं मस्जिद में दो रकअत नमाज़ (तहिय्यतुल मस्जिद) पढ़ने तक नहीं बैठता हूँ।
میں مسجد سے بائیں پير سے نکلتا ہوں اور یہ دعاء پڑھ تا ہوں: “اللھم اني اسئلک من فضلک”۔
Main masjid se baayen per se nikalta hun aur yeh du’a padhta hun: “Allahumma inni asaluka min fazlika.”
I exit the mosque with my left foot first and recite this supplication: “O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.”
मैं मस्जिद से बाएं पैर से निकलता हूँ और यह दुआ पढ़ता हूँ: “अल्लाहुम्म इन्नी अस अलु-क मिन फज़लिक।”
